Spring has SPRUNG!
We are READY for SPRING! And we’ve got some fun activities in store for Snug Club Members! STARTING WITH…..
ABSTRACT POM POM FLOWER WREATHS!
This quarter we had the privilege of working with Antoinette at the Butterfly Fiber Farm in Salem, Oregon. Antoinette (pictured below) created the hand dyed yarns we’ll be using to make our abstract pom pom “flowers” – inspired by Klimt and Frida Kahlo in equal measure.
We’re also tucking in some bonus yarn — upcycled and vintage — to add to our yarn wildflower rainbow. Greens for the leaves and white from France to make daisies.
BONUS PROJECT! :Any spare fluff from creating those pom poms will be used to make an additional abstract fiber art piece, too. Waste not, want not!
PAPIER MâCHé LANTERNS
Our pom pom wreaths and fiber art projects will be joined by our whimsical, papier mâché floral glow lanterns, adorned in some of Oregon’s finest pressed flowers from Hamba in Portland, and ferns from Fleurs de Simone in Newberg. We sourced our glue for this project (as well as our canvas for the fiber art) from our friends at the MerriArtist in McMinnville. We love supporting local!
SPRING FLING C/MOCKTAIL
In addition to our crafts, you know we have a delicious springtimey c/mocktail for you, too! We’re calling it the Spring Fling and it sure adds a pep to our step! Made with McMinnville’s own, Alchemist Jam’s Strawberry Rhubarb jam and fresh lemonade and lemons, it’ll have you chomping at the bit for sunshine — and will definitely help scurry away those April showers!
MAKERS TREATS
As always, we’ve also tucked in a very special treat from a local, PNW maker. Actually, this season we couldn’t choose just one, so opted for TWO surprises, from two different women makers, one based in OR and one based in WA! We hope you love them as much as we do and can’t wait to hear what you think!

Join us Thursday March 17th from 4-8 for a Paddy’s Day Bash! We’ll be slinging zero proof Spring Flings, sharing handmade Snug Club originals and locally made treats, and giving our Snug Club Members first dibs on box goodies! Mac Market full bar and menu available. First drink on the Snug Club for all members who can make it!
